Tim Mitchell's 550 BBC
The boys from Mitchell Motorsports brought their PLR 550ci BBC to Pro Line Racing for a routine freshen up before the NMRA/NMCA All-Star Nationals race at Atlanta International Dragway on April 12-15th.
In addition to the freshen up, we also replaced the top end! A new Hogan's sheet metal intake manifold and new Big Chief heads were added. This big block will find its way back in the Mitchell Motorsports 2002 Super Street 10.5 Camaro. Driver, Kevin Mitchell, has already gone 4.37 to the eighth and 6.64@214mph to the quarter-mile. He will look to go even faster as he faces some of the fastest 10.5 cars in the world!
