Dave DeMarco Breaks into the 6's
Dave DeMarco, out of the Boston area, took his recently finished Buick Grand National to the track for a test and tune session and the results proved to be satisfying. Dave just finished his Outlaw 10.5 Buick Grand National with a twin turbocharged Pro Line Racing engine. Dave has been building the Buick for about 2 years now and we're thrilled to see his work coming to life.
During this testing session, Dave passed a major milestone in an outlaw drag racer's career, he made his way into the 6's and passed 200 miles per hour. He went 6.92@210mph on his first pass with this new turbo combination right off the trailer. Now that Dave is back behind the wheel, pretty soon we'll be hearing about his achievements in the NMCA Super Street class. Great job Dave!
