John Carter Wins Outlaw Drag Radial at 75-80 Dragway
John Carter made an appearance at 75-80 Dragway for an event called "Run What Ya Brung". He showed up with his Outlaw Drag Radial Corvette powered by a Pro Line Racing 620ci Head Hunter engine and twin Precision Pro Mod 94mm turbochargers. The story of the night was John's turbo power dominating the competition.
Carter qualified #2 and was paired against some fierce racers along the way. He defeated Richie Stine despite being the second racer to leave the line. All of that power was too much for him to handle. In semifinals he lined up against Bobby Demilt. John thrashed his way into the lead while setting a new track record.
In the final race Carter was paired with Keith Matheson in the classic match up between nitrous and turbo. In this race, John's turbo power was too much for Keith's impressive Camaro.
Congratulations to John Carter and his crew for the victory. We will keep our eyes on them as their new race creation is being finished.
