TJ Kasper Wins at Cecil County

The finale of the Ultimate Outlaw Shootout Series at Cecil County Dragway was the center of Outlaw 10.5 action this weekend. Team North is bringing a ton of Outlaw 10.5 racers to the scene and the competition is tremendous. Gil Christy Motorsports was present with drivers Tom and TJ Kasper racing for the championship.

TJ Kasper has been on a roll as of late. With his high MPH runs, a big win at ATCO, and a stellar 6.39@230mph pass at the Shakedown, he is really putting on a show every time he's on the track. TJ qualified at the #6 spot with a 4.33@176.65mph. The Pro Line Racing 670ci engine that powers his 2002 Mustang helped "Kid Kwik" to consistently make clean passes that can't by topped.

In eliminations, he defeated Harry Jarvis with a 4.32@176mph. He squeezed past Craig Pio with a 4.32@182mph, and beat Michael Martin with a 4.29@185mph! In the final race he matched up with the always dangerous, "New Jersey" Joe Newsham. This had to be one of the best drag races we've seen in years. TJ goes 4.296@187.44mph and Joe goes 4.297@175.39mph. TJ wins with an extreme TOP END CHARGE!!!
