Carl Cox had two trophies to celebrate at Santa Pod Raceway. He won the third and final round of the Carl Cox Motorsport FIVE90 Pro Mod Series and finished the season as its inaugural champion.
Cox arrived at the finale with a 31-point lead over Bruno Bader after the first two rounds. That included a Round 2 win in July, when he drove his Proline-powered Coxy Cuda to victory in a close final against Bader. At the September finale, Cox added another round win to close out the three-event championship.
The FIVE90 series brings Pro Mods and Top Doorslammers to Santa Pod for racing on a 5.90-second index. Cox helped launch the series, raced in it, and ended its first season with both the final event win and the overall title. Santa Pod lists the series format and its three 2026 events.

Scott Taylor followed his Brainerd victory with another NHRA Outlaw Street Wally, defeating Kyle Canion at the 2026 U.S. Nationals in Indianapolis.
