LAS VEGAS, NEVADA (NOVEMBER 20th, 2017)Super Street Car Nationals at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway was another big week for the El General Racing Team (EGR) with the 67 Mustang driven by Eric Dillard. The El General Racing team entered in the Flying A Outlaw Pro Mod class looking to break more records and bring home another win for the season.
With a few good passes in qualifying, the PLR Hemi-powered Mustang was sitting number one with a stout 5.45 E.T. at 271 mph. In the first round of eliminations, the Petty-Tuned EGR Mustang ran a stellar 5.46 E.T. at 270 mph, in the second round bye, they ran a 5.44 at 275.45 mph (only 2 mph from the world record held by Ekanoo).
Going into the finals, the EGR Mustang was hot off the tree with a .012 light, followed by some fancy pedalling, Dillard brought home the win with a 5.94 E.T. at 243 mph.
It was an incredible year for the EGR team and everyone involved. They locked down the PDRA Pro Boost Championship and won their last two races. It was most definitely a season to be remembered for these guys and us here at Proline Racing.
Jason Harris takes the Pro Boost win at Darana Motorsports Park, delivering a 3.643 at 200.47 MPH in the final against No. 1 qualifier Melanie Salemi in front of a hometown crowd.
John Camp turns a record-setting Carolina Nationals performance into the first Pro Boost win of the 2026 PDRA season after the final rounds were completed at the East Coast Nationals.
Tony Wilson captures the Pro Mod win at Virginia Motorsports Park with a 3.58 at 209.04 MPH over Jason Harris.
