Sidnei Frigo Wins 2015 PDRA World Finals

In only his 2nd PDRA race of the 2015 season, Sidnei Frigo and the Artivinco Racing team showed up the World Finals in Virginia ready to take the Pro Boost class by storm! Frigo's C7 Corvette was built by Jerry Bickel Race Cars and features the PLR 520ci Hemi and the new FuelTech FT500 EFI System.

Frigo and crew managed to slip into #15 spot in a very tight qualifying field with a 3.87@201mph. After qualifying, the show began and we were reminded that elapsed time and MPH don't always win on race day! Frigo won all four rounds of eliminations by holeshots! Check out those matchups in this chart:

Round  Frigo RT  Frigo ET Opponent RT  Opponent ET  MOV
E1 .032 3.864 .507 3.790 .401
E2 .033 3.840 .054 3.823 .004
E3 .045 3.855  .084  3.824  .008
Final .008  3.880  .064  3.828  .004

Congrats to Frigo and the whole Artivinco Racing team for winning their first PDRA Pro Boost race! Next year is going to be huge for this team!
