BALL GROUND, GA (March 15, 2017) – Drag racing personality and WooooNation Commander in Chief, Keith Berry, is hosting a three day drag racing block party called WooooStock on April 13-15, 2017 at Darlington Dragway. Berry has joined forces with Lance Stanford and Travis Harvey to form the Wooooly Trinity, which has worked hard to bring all of racing together to have a good time and put on a great show.
WooooStock is not just another radial tire race, it is not another no time race, or a grudge race; it is a combination of them all. There will be a wide variety of racing action for spectators and competitors alike. The classes are as follows:
• Radial vs World
• 28/275 No Time
• 29/315 No Time
• Small Block No Time
• Leaf Spring No Time
• TNT Cars & Bikes
• Grudge Racing
The only times that we displayed are the 3 second charges of Radial vs World, which makes RvW officially the slowest class of the race. Leave it to Berry and company to think outside of the box and create a truly unique and epic event. The No Time format is sure to bring out a few of the Street Outlaws racers along with some serious grudge matchups. If Radial vs World is to too slow for some, a match race between PDRA missiles is sure to please the most insatiable door car fan. What is a radial tire race without Duck X Productions? Not much. That is why Donald “Duck” Long and Lenco Jim will have Radial vs World announcing honors at WooooStock.
WooooStock even has something for the football fans. Fletcher Cox, race team owner and defensive tackle for the Philadelphia Eagles, will be there signing autographs and gunning for a Radial vs World win.
A drag racing party of this magnitude would not be possible without the support top level sponsors and vendors. Ned Dunphy earned his first career PDRA Pro Boost victory at the Thunder Valley Throwdown at Bristol Dragway, using consistent passes and strong reaction times to race his way into the winner’s circle.
Jere Rantaniemi claimed the Pro Modified win at Tierp Arena in Sweden, defeating fellow Proline Racing customer Andres Arnover in a close final at the second stop of the FIA European Drag Racing Championship.
John Ricca capped off a huge weekend at Brisbane Jamboree 2026 with the Pro Mod Outlaw win after qualifying No. 1 and running a record-setting 5.41 at 265 MPH. Fellow Dandy Engines and Proline Racing customer Joe Gauci joined him in the final.
