Lyle Barnett Wins Pro 275 & Sets New Record at Lights Out 17

On February 22, 2026, Lyle Barnett secured the Pro 275 win at Lights Out 17 at South Georgia Motorsports Park in Adel, Georgia.

Barnett faced Eddie Harrison, the No. 2 qualifier, in the final round. Both drivers brought strong combinations to the matchup, with Harrison also running a Proline Racing engine, setting up a final round that featured two front running Proline powered entries.

Barnett’s car is powered by a Proline Racing engine, with tuning handled by Lee White. Competing as part of the Tommy Youmans team, the combination proved consistent and competitive throughout eliminations.

3.600 at 209 MPH Sets the Mark

During the event, Barnett recorded a 3.600-second pass at 209 MPH, establishing a new performance mark for the Pro 275 class at Lights Out 17. The run reflects the continued progression of the class, where incremental gains in power and consistency are pushing performance deeper into the 3.60 range.

Pro 275 remains one of the most competitive small tire categories in radial racing, and a 3.600 at over 209 MPH highlights the level of performance required to win at this stage.
