Proline Racing is proud to welcome Rickie Jones to its Tuner Team as the 2026 season gets underway. Rickie brings an accomplished drag racing background that spans championship-level Pro Stock tuning, crew chief leadership, and deep-rooted chassis expertise.
Rickie is best known for his time with Elite Motorsports, where he served as a championship-winning crew chief and tuner, playing a key role in Erica Enders’ Pro Stock world championships and multiple national event wins. His career also includes time as a driver, giving him valuable insight into how tuning decisions translate on track.
Beyond tuning, Rickie’s foundation in chassis work comes from his family business, RJ Race Cars, where he and his father build professional-level drag racing chassis and components. That hands-on experience has shaped his ability to view the car as a complete system, blending tuning strategy with chassis dynamics and track conditions.
Now stepping further into Pro Modified racing, Rickie brings a well-rounded perspective that strengthens Proline Racing’s commitment to performance, precision, and customer support. We are excited to add his experience and knowledge to the team as we head into a new year of competition.
Paul Gargus won his first-ever Pro Mod race with Scott Tidwell Racing, defeating Aaron Wells and setting a new MWDRS Pro Mod record with a 3.547-second run at 211 MPH.
Andres Arnover captured his second straight Santa Pod Raceway Doorslammer title with a strong 5.737-second pass at 259.65 MPH in the final round of Doorslammer 2026.
