Ryan Martin’s Fireball Camaro Makes History with 3.949 on 28x10.5

January 7, 2026 -- A major milestone was reached during recent testing when Ryan Martin’s Fireball Camaro became the first true 28x10.5 car to run in the 3-second zone.

The car recorded an impressive 3.949-second pass at 198.73 MPH, marking a significant moment for the 28x10.5 platform and for everyone involved in the program. Notably, this achievement came during a test session, highlighting the strength of the overall combination and the preparation behind it.

The Fireball Camaro is tuned by Jamie Miller, whose attention to detail and data-driven approach continue to push the limits of what is possible in small-tire racing. Achievements like this are never the result of a single component or individual, but rather the outcome of countless hours of development, collaboration, and refinement.

At Proline Racing Engines, we are proud to be part of efforts that move the sport forward. Breaking into the 3’s on a true 28x10.5 tire represents more than a number on the scoreboard, it reflects progress, innovation, and the continued evolution of high-level drag racing.

This pass sets a new benchmark and provides a strong foundation as the program continues to develop. We look forward to seeing what comes next.
