Proline Customers Lead PDRA Carolina Nationals with Top 5 Sweep and Record Run

Hartsville, S.C. (March 2026) – Proline Racing customers delivered a strong showing in Pro Boost competition at the PDRA Carolina Nationals at Darlington Dragway, sweeping the top five qualifying positions and setting a new class record before the event was cut short due to weather and low temperatures.

Randy Weatherford led the field in qualifying with a 3.543 at over 212 MPH. He was followed by Jason Harris, Lyle Barnett, Johnny Camp, and Raymond Matos, giving Proline customers a complete sweep of the top five in one of the most competitive classes in PDRA racing.

On race day, Weatherford continued his performance with the quickest run of the first round. Johnny Camp recorded the second quickest pass of the round, while Ned Dunphy posted the third fastest run, keeping multiple Proline entries at the top of the board early in eliminations.

Camp continued his run in round two, delivering a 3.542 pass that set a new PDRA Pro Boost record. The run stood as one of the quickest of the weekend and highlighted the performance level across the Proline camp.

Despite the strong start, Weatherford and Dunphy were both eliminated in the first round after red-light starts, ending their weekends earlier than expected.

Eliminations were not completed, as weather and low track temperatures forced officials to cancel the remainder of the event. The race will resume and conclude at Darana Motorsports Park during the PDRA East Coast Nationals.

The weekend results continue to highlight the consistency and performance of Proline-powered entries, with nine cars in the field, a sweep of the top five qualifiers, and a new Pro Boost record set during competition.
