Scott Taylor Wins NHRA Outlaw Street Wally at 2026 U.S. Nationals

Scott Taylor and the Lil' Goldie team are leaving Indianapolis with another Wally!

Taylor won the Right Trailers Outlaw Street Series at the 2026 Cornwell Quality Tools NHRA U.S. Nationals, defeating Kyle Canion in the final round at Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park. Canion left early and turned on the red light, giving Taylor and his Proline-powered Camaro the win at one of the biggest races in drag racing.

The Indy victory came just two weeks after Taylor earned his first career Wally at the NHRA Brainerd Nationals. There, he used a .004 reaction time and a 3.709-second pass at 202.82 mph to defeat fellow Proline Racing customer Shawn “Murder Nova” Ellington in the final.

Taylor carried that momentum into the U.S. Nationals and worked his way into his third consecutive NHRA Outlaw Street final. After taking over the No. 1 qualifying position during the weekend, Taylor and the team continued making consistent runs through eliminations before meeting Canion for the Wally.

Winning at Indy is a major accomplishment on its own. Doing it immediately after a victory at Brainerd made the weekend even stronger for Taylor and the entire Little Goldie team.

Congratulations to Scott Taylor Motorsports and everyone involved in the program on back-to-back NHRA Outlaw Street victories and a U.S. Nationals Wally.
