Johnny Camp and the Hells Bells team came away with the Pro Boost win at PDRA Drag Wars, earning their second PDRA victory of the 2026 season.
Camp qualified No. 2 before working his way through eliminations, including a big second-round matchup against points leader Jason Harris. Camp got past Harris with a 3.602 at 210.41 MPH and continued on to the final, where he lined up against Randy Weatherford.
The final became an all-Proline-powered matchup. Camp’s ProCharger combination is tuned by Brandon Stroud, while Weatherford runs a Proline 4.9 AJPE Hemi with a Harts Charger.
Weatherford was quicker in the final with a 3.578 at 210.11 MPH, but left .004 seconds early. Camp ran a 3.594 at 210.44 MPH to turn on the win light and secure his second PDRA win of the year.
PDRA Drag Wars had a total of 28 cars enter the class, and the 16-car field ended up being one of the quickest in Pro Boost history with a 3.623 bump spot. Proline-powered combinations made up 11 of the 16 qualified cars, with two additional Proline customers just missing the field.
The win also gave Camp a big boost in the Pro Boost championship race. He entered Drag Wars sitting second in points behind Jason Harris, then defeated Harris in the second round before going on to win the event. With one race remaining, Camp and Harris are now set for a close championship battle heading into the PDRA World Finals.

Scott Taylor earned his first NHRA Wally at Brainerd, defeating Shawn “Murder Nova” Ellington in a close all-Proline Racing customer final.
Paul Gargus and Scott Tidwell Racing earned another Pro Mod win at DragCoverage’s Night of Fire at Alabama International Dragway. Gargus qualified No. 1 with a 3.602 at 207.94 MPH before defeating No. 7 qualifier Michael Neal in the final.
Ned Dunphy earned his first career PDRA Pro Boost victory at the Thunder Valley Throwdown at Bristol Dragway, using consistent passes and strong reaction times to race his way into the winner’s circle.
