Travis Harvey Scores $125,000 Pro Mod Mania Victory with a Perfect Light

MILAN, Mich. (June 6, 2026)At IHRA Pro Mod Mania at Milan Dragway, Travis Harvey proved just how important the starting line can be when he used a perfect .000 reaction time to claim the $125,000 winner's check in one of the closest races of the weekend.

Harvey lined up against Melanie Salemi in the final round after both drivers battled through a tough field of Pro Mod competitors. When the tree dropped, Harvey was flawless, posting a perfect light and immediately putting pressure on Salemi.

At the finish line, the two cars were nearly inseparable.

Harvey stopped the clocks with a 3.605-second pass at 208.24 mph, while Salemi actually ran the quicker elapsed time, a 3.602 at 208.04 mph. But thanks to Harvey's reaction time advantage, he crossed the finish line first and secured the victory by just .020 seconds.

The win capped off an impressive weekend for the North Carolina native, who continued to show why he's one of the toughest competitors in the class. Harvey advanced through a stacked field that included Donald Klooster, Randy Weatherford, and fellow Proline Racing customers on his way to the final round.

For fans, the final served as a reminder of what makes Pro Mod racing so exciting. While the numbers on the scoreboard often grab the headlines, races can be won or lost before the cars travel a single foot. Harvey's perfect reaction time was the deciding factor, turning a race where he was slightly slower on elapsed time into a $125,000 victory.

Congratulations to Travis Harvey and his entire team on an outstanding performance at Milan Dragway and a well-earned Pro Mod Mania victory.
