Travis "The Carolina Kid" Harvey continued his incredible run of success by capturing the Pro Boost victory at the PDRA North vs. South Shootout on June 27 at Maryland International Raceway in Mechanicsville, Maryland.
Fresh off his $125,000 victory at IHRA Pro Mod Mania earlier this month, Harvey kept the momentum rolling by driving to another winner's circle, this time in PDRA Pro Boost competition.
Harvey entered race day after qualifying No. 3 with a strong 3.610-second pass at 208.84 mph, putting himself in contention among one of the toughest Pro Boost fields of the season.
In the final round, Harvey squared off against Derek Ward and delivered when it mattered most. Harvey crossed the finish line first with a winning 3.59-second pass at 209.36 mph, adding another impressive victory to his already remarkable 2026 campaign.
Over the past few weeks, Harvey has proven to be one of the hottest drivers in drag racing. With victories in both IHRA Pro Mod and now PDRA Pro Boost, "The Carolina Kid" continues to showcase the consistency, speed, and determination needed to win at the highest level.
Congratulations to Travis Harvey and his entire team on another outstanding weekend. We look forward to seeing what the rest of the season has in store.
