Carl Cox capped off a strong weekend at Santa Pod Raceway by driving the "Coxy Cuda" to victory in the Carl Cox Motorsport 5.90 Pro Mod Series. Facing Bruno Bader in the final round, Cox delivered a 5.927-second pass at 241.47 mph to secure the win after one of the closest races of the event.
Cox showed his team was ready to contend long before the final round. In the semifinal, he left the starting line with an impressive .008 reaction time and ran a 5.901-second pass, carrying that momentum into the final matchup. The performance highlighted the consistency that ultimately paid off on race day.
The final was everything fans could ask for. Cox gained a slight advantage at the tree with a quicker reaction time, but Bader stayed alongside him throughout the entire run. The pair raced virtually door-to-door from the launch to the finish line, with just .002 seconds separating them at both the eighth-mile marker and through the finish. It was the kind of race where neither driver gave an inch, and the winner wasn't truly decided until the timing boards lit up.
When the finish line beams were broken, it was Cox who came out on top, adding a victory to the Proline-powered "Coxy Cuda." His 5.927 at 241.47 mph capped off an outstanding day for the Carl Cox Motorsport team and rewarded a weekend of consistently strong performances.

We're proud to see another Proline-powered team in the winner's circle and look forward to seeing what the rest of the series has in store!
