John Ricca Wins Pro Mod Outlaw at Brisbane Jamboree 2026

John Ricca and the Dandy Engines team put together a huge weekend at the 2026 Brisbane Jamboree, taking home the Pro Mod Outlaw win at Willowbank Raceway.

Ricca entered eliminations as theNo. 1 qualifier after laying down a 5.41 at 265 MPH, which also marked the quickest pass in Jamboree history.

The weekend came down to an all Dandy Engines and Proline Racing customer final, with Ricca lining up against fellow customerJoe Gauci for the Pro Mod Outlaw title.

Ricca's Camaro battled through its share of challenges throughout the weekend, including multiple blower belt issues. In the final, the team stripped another blower belt approximately 3.7 seconds into the run. Ricca was still able to push through to a5.58 at 211 MPH, securing the Brisbane Jamboree Pro Mod Outlaw victory.

It capped off an impressive weekend for Ricca and the entire team, who continued turning the Camaro around and getting it back to the starting line despite the issues thrown their way.

Ricca leaves Willowbank Raceway with a weekend that included theNo. 1 qualifying position, a 5.41 at 265 MPH Jamboree record, and the 2026 Brisbane Jamboree Pro Mod Outlaw win.
