Jere Rantaniemi continued his strong FIA European Drag Racing Championship campaign with a Pro Modified victory at Tierp Arena in Sweden, defeating fellow Proline Racing customer Andres Arnover in the final round.
The reigning FIA European Pro Modified champion entered eliminations from the No. 1 qualifying position and carried that momentum into race day. Rantaniemi worked his way through the field, defeating Jens Lönngren in the quarterfinals before taking down Stian Rusånes in the semifinals to earn his spot in the final.
On the other side of the ladder, Arnover was looking to continue his own strong start to the FIA European Drag Racing Championship season after winning the opening round at Santa Pod Raceway.
The Estonian driver defeated Benny Strand in the quarterfinals before facing Michel Tooren in a close semifinal matchup. Arnover used a quicker reaction time to his advantage, reaching the finish line first and setting up an all-Proline Racing final against Rantaniemi.
The final delivered a close race between the two Proline Racing customers. Rantaniemi laid down a 5.80-second pass to secure the victory, while Arnover was right behind him with a strong 5.83-second effort.
The win capped off an impressive weekend for Rantaniemi, who left Tierp Arena with both the No. 1 qualifying position, the Pro Modified event win, and leading in series points.

John Ricca capped off a huge weekend at Brisbane Jamboree 2026 with the Pro Mod Outlaw win after qualifying No. 1 and running a record-setting 5.41 at 265 MPH. Fellow Dandy Engines and Proline Racing customer Joe Gauci joined him in the final.
Eric Dillard and Paul Gargus shared the victory at the Mid-West Drag Racing Series Northern Nationals after rain cut the event short. Proline Racing customers represented 13 of the 26 Pro Mod entries, including all four semifinalists.
Carl Cox drove the "Coxy Cuda" to victory in the Carl Cox Motorsport 5.90 Pro Mod Series at Santa Pod Raceway after an unforgettable side by side final against Bruno Bader that was decided by just .02 seconds.
