NORTH DINWIDDIE, VA(JUNE 30th, 2018) - The PDRA Firecracker Nationals at Virginia Motorsports Park was the backdrop to a surprising turn of events in the Outlaw 10.5 class.
Outlaw 632 kingpin, Ken Quartuccio Jr, debuted his brand new twin turbo C7 Corvette built by Skinny Kid Race Cars for Outlaw 10.5 and RvW. This Stage 4 PLR 481X-powered Vette is tuned by Ken's longtime friend and PLR tuner, Jamie Miller.
Quartuccio and crew started the event off on the right foot going 3.99 and qualifying #1. In eliminations he went 4.13 against Jesse Lambert who went 4.73, followed by a 4.01 over PLR-Powered Blake Copson’s personal best 4.11 in the semifinals. In the finals Quartuccio got the win going 3.97 at 197mph to Mike Decker III's 5.25 at 199mph.
Big congrats to Ken, the Quartuccio family, Jamie Miller (Red Hat Mafia), Tim Davis and the rest of their crew! This is a great way to debut a car, we are super excited to see ProLine Power in the Outlaw 10.5 winners circle again!
