Congratulations to Manny Buginga and Carson Perry on their victories at Swanfest: Money in the Bank at Rockingham Dragway on October 2, 2026. Buginga took the N/T 28’s win, while Perry earned the Pro Mod victory for Redd Topp Motorsports.
With rain threatening the weekend, organizers condensed the schedule to two qualifying sessions and completed eliminations Friday night. Both teams finished the shortened event in the winner’s circle.
Buginga opened eliminations with a win over Greg Chandler before facing Chandler’s son, Mike, in the N/T 28’s final. Buginga gained the advantage at the starting line and stayed ahead through the finish to secure the victory.
The result added another Swanfest win to Buginga’s season after his Extreme N/T 275 victory at the spring event in May. That race ended with an all-Proline Racing final against Carlos Sanchez.
In Pro Mod, Perry faced teammate Travis “The Carolina Kid” Harvey in the final. Both drivers had delivered consistent performances throughout the day, setting up a final-round matchup between the two teammates.
Perry ran 3.591 seconds at 208.33 mph to take the win as Harvey slowed to a 3.837 at 153.64 mph. The victory followed a No. 3 qualifying effort for Perry.
Perry’s Redd Topp Motorsports C7 Corvette uses a Noonan-based Proline Racing engine and Harts Charger combination. His father, Danny Perry, and brother, Daniel Perry, have been instrumental in developing and tuning the program, which made its PDRA Pro Boost debut earlier this season.
For Proline Racing, the event brought two customer victories across small-tire and Pro Mod competition. Congratulations to Manny Buginga, Carson Perry, Redd Topp Motorsports, and the crews, families, and partners behind both programs on their Swanfest wins.
Scott Taylor earned the inaugural NHRA Outlaw Street Championship with three consecutive finals and victories at Brainerd and Indianapolis in the Proline-powered Little Goldie Camaro.
Carson Baker earned his first NHRA Wally at the Texas Fall Nationals, using a .003 reaction time to defeat Clay Cole on a holeshot in Right Trailers Outlaw Street.
Troy Pirez Jr. drove Cameron Johnson’s Eagle Camaro to the FL2K 28 N/T Shootout win in just its second outing since switching to a Harts Charger.
