Randy Weatherford Wins $125,000 IHRA Outlaw Pro Mod Nationals

Milan, MI – Randy Weatherford and the WS Construction team made it two wins in a row in the same state with their new Harts Charger which is equipped to his PLR Hemi-powered Camaro, taking home $125,000 and the IHRA Outlaw Pro Mod Nationals title. Last week they won PDRA Pro Boost at Us131 Motorsports Park!

Randy set the tone early, qualifying #1 in a 32-car field with a 3.6079 at 210.67 mph.

Elimination Results:

  • Round 1: Bye run – 3.665

  • Round 2: Defeated Bubba Greene, 3.660 to 3.734

  • Round 3: Took down Kurt Steading with a 3.637

  • Semifinals: Matched up with Robin Roberts in what was shaping up to be a nail-biter, but Roberts went red (-.029). Randy’s .026 reaction time and 3.605 would have been enough to make it close against Roberts’ 3.602.

  • Finals: In one of the tightest races of the weekend, Randy edged out Kallee Mills, 3.601 to 3.604, to secure the massive payday and back-to-back victories.

Congratulations to Randy, Steve Petty, Andy, Chris, Eddie, and the rest of the WS Construction crew for this huge accomplishment.
