Randy Weatherford Wins PDRA Pro Boost at Northern Nationals

Martin, MI – It was a weekend to remember for Randy Weatherford and the WS Construction team at the PDRA Northern Nationals at US131 Motorsports Park. Weatherford drove his PLR Hemi-powered Camaro, now boosted by a brand-new Harts Charger, to a Pro Boost victory in dominant fashion.

The weekend started strong with Randy qualifying #1 with a new personal best of 3.578 at 212.06 mph.

In eliminations:

  • Round 1: Randy took a solo pass and ran a conservative 4.17 at 128.87.

  • Round 2: He defeated Steve King with a solid3.603 at 211 mph, while King went red on the tree.

  • Semifinals: Randy stepped it up again with a 3.580 at 211 mph and a .005 reaction time, edging out Jason Harris, who ran 3.594 at 209 mph.

  • Finals: A marquee matchup against Ty Tutterow ended in Weatherford’s favor. Ty ran a 3.576 at 209mph but went red on the starting line, and Randy laid down another 3.578 at 211 mph to seal the win.
